Why is a wave strong?
Why isn’t it weak…
It drags pebbles along.
A single mountain of water
Washing to and fro.
You can get lost in water
Don’t you know?
It is grey, a dirty colour,
The salt hits your nose
Hard, the wind whips your
Face turning it bright red.
The waves as they crash
Against the pebbles
Is deafening, it is a roar
That drowns all else out.
The tall rollers take away
The beach and leave
It somewhere else.
The big horses with white
Manes continue to gallop
To the shore, let us just pray
That they do not reach it.
If they do then choas
Don’t you just love the sea?
It’s all just one big sea, which breaks apart into a
Few lochs, lakes and springs…so beautiful, scary,
So inspiring. The vivid blue of calm, the appearance of
Serenity completely conceals the colour, calamity and
Madness of every single form of life.
One in a million, no, wait, one in seven billion!
So how are we supposed to meet, well the coral guided us
To the beating land of happiness, where the jellyfish
Light inspire the young and elderly turtles rest their weary
Heads. Magic of the sea brought you to me, but then the
Shark came and we went our separate ways, to a new hidden
Home of confusing shape, unstable in the turbulent waves
As I begin to approach the surface, which you dive in from.
Well, I’ll be there soon, but until then…drop a line…I’m sure
To find it!
The tide turns and drags away a thousand shrieking
pebbles, the sea roaring it’s delight as the foam top captures
and steals too many stones. The peace and tranquility of the sky blue
sea has been washed away by the greedy grey clouds and whipped up
by the wind. Crashes of water on wood deafen all the passers by who begin
to leave the promenade, leaving a deserted resort to the mercy of
Out at sea the sails shimmer
And flap in the wind, driving the
Journey further and further. The seas
Rise and fall with excitement, nature
Makes the sails unfurl with anticipation,
All because the travelling continues and
New lives are waiting to be created, destinies
To be lived.
