They have the power to destroy,
The capacity to pull apart lives
And end the hope, dampen the spark until
Only smouldering smoke remains and in a
Puff is completely extinguished.
They have the power to cause love,
Excite a heart so it pounds so fast
And causes a couple to willingly say
‘Till death us do part’. Desire courses
Through veins when the words are full of the same.
They have the power to illuminate those
Hidden in the shadows, brighten their
Dark days of doom, guide them into the
Brightness of happiness.
See words, those mundane things, they are the strongest
Weapons we own, Weald them with good intent and the results
Will be immense.
